Kombatkids has been established for over 30 years providing professional karate tuition in schools/venues throughout five counties.

Kombatkids caters for all ability of student. Many who lack confidence, are bullied or may have learning difficulties, by attending classes on a regular basis, through the training/grading process alongside their mentors and peers it is with considerable certainty they will grow in confidence.

Many students have gone on to achieve the rank of Black belt with various additional needs such as: Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. Karate is a highly recommended activity as it promotes key skills like focus, discipline, co-ordination, self confidence and social interaction which can be partiularly beneficial in helping challenges related to attention, behaviour, and motor skills; the structured environment of a karate class with repetition of movements also provides a sense of routine and accomplishment.

Students are taught the Traditional art of karate in a modern progressive way, with the benefits of Sports Science, Sport Psychology and Scientific thinking in preparing the students.

Kombatkids has a structured competition pathway, offering ALL students the opportunity to compete at National/International level. In addition to their own competition squad, some of these students regulary train with the English Karate Federation (EKF - Only Governing Body for England recognised by the World Karate Federation) regional kumite team and compete for the EKF.
